About Us

The Hood River Elks Lodge #1507 has been holding down a corner of 304 Cascade Ave long enough that generations of locals have walked through its doors. That old-school atmosphere reviewers keep mentioning is not an accident. It is the accumulated character of a lodge that has hosted flea markets, welcomed road-tripping members from New Jersey, and served as a dependable anchor for the Hood River community through every decade it has seen.

Sit down inside and you get the full Elks experience: the comfortable familiarity of a place that does not need to reinvent itself every season. The Sunday flea markets draw a loyal crowd of treasure hunters and chatty vendors, making the parking lot a destination all its own. Visiting Elks from out of state consistently remark on how warmly they are received, which says something real about the membership culture here.

With a 4.7-star rating across 53 reviews, this lodge earns its reputation the straightforward way: good people, consistent programming, and a room that feels lived-in rather than staged. The Columbia River Gorge is right outside the door, and after a day on the water or the trails, there are few better places to land.

What We Offer

Lodge #1507 offers the full range of Elks membership benefits alongside a calendar of events that keeps things interesting year-round. The Sunday flea markets are a community staple, drawing vendors and bargain hunters from across the Gorge region for a couple of relaxed hours of browsing and conversation.

Membership opens up access to the lodge hall, social events, and the broader BPOE national network, which means a warm welcome at Elks lodges across the country when you travel. Visiting members are encouraged to stop in and introduce themselves. The lodge also supports local charitable initiatives in keeping with the Elks mission of community service.

Private hall rentals are available for qualifying events, and the lodge hosts regular gatherings for members throughout the year. Check the elks.org lodge page for the current event schedule and membership information.

"I go here every once in a while for their Sunday flea markets. Great way to spend an hour or two looking for treasures and chatting with the vendors. It's well run. They have some limited parking onsite for the market, but it's not too difficult to find on street parking. Friendly, fun atmosphere"

"We went here during our vacation. We are visiting Elks from NJ and loved this lodge.Funny thing we didn't even look it up we literally ran into it. My dad was very excited. Everyone was very nice and welcoming. There was a gentleman named Nick whom went out of his way to introduce himself and make us feel at home. We will visit everytime we come to Hood river."
